With solid professional experience in the financial planning, investment, and real estate development industries prior to joining the Hood Law Group, Andrew has a well-rounded background of knowledge, which helps him to think outside of the box when it benefits his clients. He represents clients in a variety of matters including tax returns, State and IRS tax controversies and audits, estate planning, business and transactional work, and ski law. As a valued Associate with The Hood Law Group, Andrew helps his clients resolve their numerous tax troubles with the IRS.  He has no problem facing the IRS or the states of Missouri or Kansas on your behalf to straighten out any complicated tax-related issues.  Frankly, Andrew likes solving problems—the messier the better.  He represents both individuals and businesses in sales, use, withholding, and income tax audits—all with great success.

Some might call him crazy, but he rather likes Excel spreadsheets, lots of numbers, and math figures that give others a major migraine.

Andrew’s other duties include drafting estate-planning documents—wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.  He also writes a mean operating agreement, deed, commercial and private lease, and other assignments as needed.

In his free time, he enjoys watching his Jayhawks, Royals, Chiefs, SKC and Commodores, skiing and playing tennis, and editing his bio at the behest of firm management. He also owns the Aztec Tomb from Arrested Development, the best comedy show of all time.
